The City of Allen incorporated in 1953 and has experienced many growth spurts over the last 60 years bringing the population from as low as 400 to its current inhabitants of close to 86,000. Allen is known as one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. The residential Real Estate market has spurred drastically and has contributed to much of Allen’s growth in the past 5 years.

In February 1902, a town we now know as Frisco, was formed from the fertile black soil of west Collin County’s beautiful rolling prairie land. However, to get a true picture of the history of our City, we need to look much further back in time, perhaps to the early 1800s. Frisco today is the home for approximately 130,000 people. Frisco is also recognized as one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.

Located in Dallas county, contains the Las Colinas area, which was one of the first master-planned developments in the United States and once the largest mixed-use development in the Southwest with a land area of more than 12,000 acres. Las Colinas includes the Mustangs at Las Colinas, which is the largest equestrian sculpture in the world. A 40-acre (160,000 m2) tract in Las Colinas is home to the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, completed in January 2011.
